I am a postdoc working with Zach Erickson, Emily Lemagie, Al Hermann, and Wei Cheng to study the life cycle and biogeochemical impacts of eddies in the Gulf of Alaska (GOA). I assess eddy characteristics and investigate the impacts of GOA eddies on marine primary productivity in both models and observations. My previous research focused on the variability and predictability of marine heatwaves, ocean heat transport, and Arctic sea ice.
